Playing for a Purpose began in 2017 because we saw an opportunity for a sports league for adults in York County, South Carolina. Passion for playing sports doesn't fade as you get older. This league provides an opportunity for adults to continue playing the sports that they love, while giving back to the community where they live. Each season, a "purpose" is selected, and funds raised from league and tournament fees go towards that cause. These causes vary from church groups and mission trips, to youth centers and other areas of need. If you know of a need in our community, let us know! Your cause may be our next PURPOSE.
